Tomorrow's exam will be taken by teenagers as young as 15 and elderly people as well.

The basic literacy and numerical assessment test is scheduled for March 17 as part of the Nav Bharat Saakshar program, which aims to educate the illiterate. In all, the district will see 22,748 men and women participate in this exam. These range in age from seniors to teenagers who are 15 years old. The examination is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. In the district currently, there are 1,40,201 illiterates.

In fact, social awareness centers have been set up in the district under the Ullas Nav Bharat Literacy Programme for men and women above the age of 15 who live in villages and cities but lack reading and writing skills. Neoliterates will have their marks graded as follows: The 2011 census was used as the basis for the illiterate survey. There were 5 lakh 30 thousand 970 illiterates in the district at that time. Through literacy programs, 39 lakh 90 thousand 769 people have become literate in the district up to this point; however, 1 lakh 40 thousand 201 people remain illiterate. Of them, 22, 748 people who are illiterate have been identified to be included in the analysis. The marks that the newly literate candidates taking the test will receive will be graded. There will be the option to enroll directly in classes up to the fifth class, based on grading.

Sehore block's most illiterate person: Formerly, meeting the literacy criteria alone qualified one as literate under the Literacy Mission. However, being able to read and write in one's mother tongue is now essential. These individuals are being chosen and given literacy instruction in order to do this. The exam is now scheduled for Sunday. Sehore block has been found to have the highest percentage of illiterates in the district. In this instance, 9,546 illiterates have been identified, compared to just 1374 in the Budni block. There are currently 4850 illiterates in Ashta, 3408 in Ichhawar, and 3570 in Bhairunda.
