Bhatia Tamannaah Maharashtra Cyber Cell summoned in the FairPlay App Investigation

The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has called Tamannaah Bhatia to question her about her suspected involvement in the unauthorised broadcasting of Indian Premier League matches on the Fairplay App. On April 29, she is scheduled to appear for questioning. Another person connected to the case was Sanjay Dutt, although he was unable to attend the April 23 questioning session because of prior obligations. Rather, he asked for an alternative date for recording his statement.
A subsidiary of the Mahadev online gaming app, FairPlay has been connected to illicit betting on a number of live games, including poker, tennis, card games, and cricket. Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, who supported the app, made headlines last year when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) called them in for interrogation. After an extravagant ₹200-crore wedding in the United Arab Emirates last year that was reportedly fully purchased with cash, the app's reputation took a hit.
Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, who are both from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, run the Mahadev Online betting app out of Dubai. To draw in new clients, they employed a variety of techniques, including sponsored social media ads and the development of new websites and closed chat rooms. High-ranking Chhattisgarhi politicians and officials are allegedly involved in the money laundering case that the Enforcement Department (ED) has been looking into for more than a year. About Rs 6,000 crore is thought to have been made via criminal activity in this instance.
