Sehore. Shailendra Patel, a former Member of Legislative Assembly of the Ichhawar assembly constituency in the district of Sehore, was appointed Chief Whip of the State Congress, delegating significant authority to State Congress President Jitu Patwari.
Shailendra Patel, a top Congress leader from the Sehore district, is said to have lost the most recent assembly elections by a very narrow margin. He was previously the MLA for Ichhawar. In addition, he ran for the Vidisha Lok Sabha seat in the most recent elections.
His appointment as the State Congress's Chief Spokesperson has now come with a great deal of responsibility, courtesy of Congress State President Jitu Patwari. Shailendra Patel has conveyed his appreciation for this appointment to the State President. Patel has stated that he will now prominently present the Congress's position, confirming this appointment.
