On April 15, the stock market is now experiencing a dip. The Sensex has dropped more than 700 points and is currently trading at 73,700. Simultaneously, Nifty has experienced a decline of over 200 points and is currently trading at 22,300.
The market is displaying the effects of the tension between Iran and Israel. Only six of the 30 Sensex equities were rising, while the other 24 were declining. These days, electricity shares, metals, and banking are all declining more.
Three causes of the market's downturn
The tension between Iran and Israel has contributed to a resurgence of geotension following the Israel-Hamas war.
Following the strong market surge, some investors are booking profits. Small and midsize caps are now overpriced.
Weak global cues have caused the market to decline. Today's market decline in Japan is also roughly 1%.
The FPO for Vodafone Idea will open on April 18.
The financially troubled telecom giant Vodafone Idea (VI) has stated that it will initiate a follow-on public offer, or FPO, of Rs 18,000 crore. The dates of this FPO's opening are April 18–22.
For its FPO, the corporation has set a pricing range of ₹10 to ₹11. Investors may place a bid for as few as one lot, or 1298 shares. In this case, your investment will be ₹ 14,278 if you apply for 1 lot at the ₹ 11 FPO upper pricing band.
The market saw a downturn on Friday as well.
