The books for classes 11 and 12 have once again undergone revisions thanks to NCERT. This time, the books no longer contain any mention of Manipur, the destruction of the Babri Mosque in Ayodhya, or the details of Muslims slain in the riots in Gujarat. This has made India's position on Jammu and Kashmir clear.
The online books do not yet reflect these revisions made by NCERT, although rumors have it that they will be changed shortly as well.
According to NCERT, the Ayodhya chapter has undergone a comprehensive revision as a result of the Supreme Court's constitutional bench's verdict.
The Gujarat riots were not mentioned in the eleventh grade book.

In response, NCERT clarified that the incident described in the chapter, which occurred 20 years ago, was settled through legal proceedings.
Removed: mention of Muslims slain in the riots in Gujarat
Another significant modification is the removal of the mention of Muslims slain in the post-Godhra riots from the secularism discussion on page 112 of the Political Theory textbook for Class 11 Political Science.
According to NCERT, during a riot, individuals from all communities experience losses. There cannot be a single community.
Removal of reference to the demolition of Ayodhya
Page 136 of the Class 12 Political Science book's Chapter 8, "Recent Developments in Indian Politics," has been altered.
NCERT has elucidated that the modification implemented is entirely consistent with the present circumstances surrounding Jammu and Kashmir.
