A fresh update regarding "Ramayana," directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has surfaced. Sakshi Tanwar, the actress from "Dangal," has reportedly entered this movie, according to a report in Filmy Beat.

According to rumors, Sakshi was chosen by the filmmakers to play Mandodari, Ravana's wife, in the movie. However, the creators have not yet provided an official statement on this.

The actress will appear in front of Yash.

Sakshi is currently participating in screenplay reading sessions with the film's crew, according to an insider. She is slated to appear in the movie with South Indian celebrity Yash, who is portraying Ravana in the "Ramayana." Sakshi is joined in this reading session by Lara Dutta and Rakul Preet Singh as well.

Indra Krishna joined the cast as well.
Actress Indra Krishna and Ranbir Kapoor recently shared a selfie. Since then, there has also been talk that Indra will star in this movie as Lord Ram's mother, Queen Kaushalya.

2025 may see the release of the first part.
It is said that by April 2024, Nitish would begin filming the first segment of this movie starring Sai and Ranbir. In July 2024, Yash, who is slated to play Ravana in the movie, will begin filming. By the latter half of 2025, the creators hope to release the first installment.
