These days, Randeep Hooda is in the news because of the movie "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar." He disclosed in a recent interview that he faced numerous financial and physical obstacles in order to complete this movie.
The movie had to be closed because of a financial shortage. Afterwards, he liquidated his father's Mumbai assets to raise money for Veer Savarkar's biography.
He also shed a lot of weight in preparation for this movie. He used to only be able to eat almond butter and nuts throughout the day in order to play the character of Veer Savarkar.
Randeep declared, "I want this movie to be seen by everyone."
During an interview with the BeerBiceps Podcast, Randeep discussed the film's journey. He declared that this movie should be seen by everyone, not only those with right-wing viewpoints. He went on, "I wanted to premiere this movie on August 15 of last year." Additionally, a January 26 release date was scheduled for this year, but it was not carried out.
I gave this project everything I had. Nevertheless, issues remained. The reason is because the group working on this project in the past had no intention of producing a high-caliber movie. All he wanted to do was make movies.
For the movie, properties had to be sold.
Financial difficulties also arose while the movie was being made. My father had purchased two or three properties in Mumbai for me, which I later sold to recoup the money and put toward movies. Even after this, I continued to make films even though no one else did.
Weakness used to cause Randeep to stumble.
Randeep also discussed changing one's body. For this persona, he had put on 60 kg of weight. Maintaining the weight while shooting was more challenging. He said, "In the past, I would only drink water, black coffee, and green tea." I then increased my intake of dark chocolate, almonds, and cheesela. This prevented me from falling asleep. once fell onto the set.
He once passed out while astride a horse. He also sustained a knee injury as a result of this.
Randeep continued, "After that, and even with a crippled leg, only I know how I lost my weight." I started a fast stimulation diet after that. I used to spend the entire day eating just one spoonful of almond butter, one spoonful of coconut oil, and a few nuts.
