Navratri is being celebrated this year, as it does every year, in the Chausat Yogini Maryh Mata Temple at Vishramghat, Sehore, with faith and fervor. Pushya Nakshatra Yoga celebrated the sacred holiday of Mahashtami with considerable pomp and circumstance on Tuesday. On this particular occasion, 101 or so girls received lunch service and instructional materials. This Wednesday at 8 a.m., the current Havan will come to an end, and Bhandara will be held following Aarti. There will be thousands of devotees taking part in it.
According to Pandit Sharma, Pushya Nakshatra Yoga began on Tuesday morning on Durga Maha Ashtami and will run until 7:54 am on Wednesday morning on Navami the next day. It is said that Pushya Nakshatra is a nurturer. It's an energy-giving constellation.
On the ninth day of Navratri, the city's renowned Marih Mata temple hosts Bhandara. Daily food prasad and kanyabhoja are given to the devotees by the women's groups and devoted followers. After many girls were worshipped on Tuesday as well, prasad was given out. Aarti was held on the temple grounds in the morning, and almost 31,000 offerings, along with mantras, were made to the goddess.
