Pawan Davuluri, a graduate of IIT Madras, has been appointed Chief of Microsoft Windows and Surface. The longtime product head, Panos Panay, is replaced by Davuluri. Panay joined Amazon last year after leaving the department.
Mikhail Parakhin was the head of the Windows division, while Davuluri was the previous leader of the Surface Group. Following their resignations, Pawan assumed leadership of the Surface and Windows divisions.
Rajesh Jha, Head of Experience and Devices, will get reports from Davuluri.
