India's first Olympic quota in rowing was secured by Balraj: Narayan-Anita won a place in the Para Mixed Doubles to Paris.

In rowing, India's first quota has been won by Balraj Panwar. Narayan Konganapalle and Anita, on the other hand, have also guaranteed a spot in the Para Olympics, which will take place in Paris, in the Para Mixed Doubles category. In the men's singles skull competition at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers in Chungju, South Korea, Balraj came in third. In addition, he secured India's first rowing quota. In the 2000-meter race, he finished in seventh place with a time of 7 minutes, 01.27 seconds. The top five athletes in this skull event would receive an Olympic quota.
