About 157 Madhya Pradesh players competed in the Under-20 National Football Competition, which will take place at the city's church field in the coming days. Out of 100 players, the selectors chose 40 for the training camp on Saturday after about 57 players were dissatisfied with the verification process on the first day. Now, following 25 days of intense training, the Madhya Pradesh football team will be established.
Manoj Kanojia, the secretary of the District Football Association, provided information on this, stating that the trial phase began last Friday. The team's head coaches, Ashish Pillay, Deepak Pardesi, Rahul Mehta, assistant coach Vipin Pawar, national referee Jyoti Gaur, and Anand Upadhyay, oversee the camp, which was organized. Each player received 200 minutes in each of the two sessions.
Senior players, national coaches, and selectors from all around the state make up the committee that Chief Selector Vice President Vidyut Malekar has formed in the interim. On Sunday night, a practice match was arranged here in addition to 40 football players receiving instruction. The game ended in a close draw, 2-2.
Sangma and Yasir each scored one goal for the MP XI during this game, while Jackson and Parimaat each scored one goal for the national team. The process of giving these forty players training and practice matches began on Sunday. On Monday, there will also be a practice match.
