Following Mukhtar's passing, Alka Rai, the late former BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai's wife, stated, "What can I say, it is God's blessings." I used to ask him in prayer for justice, and I was granted it today. Since then, we have never celebrated Holi, so I figured that today would be Holi for us. We had the murder incident.
Piyush Rai, the son of Krishnanand Rai, stated, "My mother and I have received the blessings of Baba Vishwanath and Baba Gorakhnath."
