To improve the infrastructure for charging electric vehicles (EVs) throughout India, MG Motor India and Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility, a subsidiary of Adani Gas, have partnered. The installation of cutting-edge charging stations and improved EV user accessibility are the goals of this partnership.

Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility has agreed to install CC2 60 kW DC chargers at future MG dealerships. They will oversee every step of the procedure, including the infrastructure for charging supply and installation as well as its upkeep.

Both businesses plan to investigate the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as application programming interfaces (APIs), with public charging stations. As a result, EV owners will find charging more easy and network visibility will be enhanced.

Chief Growth Officer of MG Motor India Gaurav Gupta expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration and emphasized its importance in advancing sustainable mobility and transforming the EV industry in India.

Adani TotalEnergies Gas Limited's ED and CEO, Suresh P. Mangalani, emphasized the importance of this partnership in hastening India's energy transformation and cutting carbon emissions.

Notwithstanding obstacles, MG Motor India has been expanding since 2023 with support from the JSW Group. The company reported a 23% year-over-year fall in retail sales in March 2024, although for the fiscal year 2023–24, sales increased by 14% over the prior year.
