Collector Praveen Singh made a commitment to fight malaria and launch a specific effort to end the disease on the occasion of World Malaria Day. Collector Praveen Singh has made a plea to the district's citizens, both in rural and urban regions, to observe cleanliness and hygiene in and around their homes in order to prevent dengue and malaria on the occasion of Malaria Day.
The primary factor causing illness to spread is dirt.
According to Collector Singh, the primary causes of the dengue and malaria outbreaks are dispersed trash, unclean conditions, and the contaminated water surrounding their dwellings. Old tires, rotting salmon, and other things that gather water need to be removed in order to prevent the dengue malaria disease, he said.
He asserted that maintaining cleanliness is crucial and that hand pumps in rural areas shouldn't be supplied with contaminated water. Keeping our homes and the areas around them clean and hygienic is the best method to combat malaria.
Use antimalarial medications obtained by the health department to prevent dengue malaria. Collector Singh stated that while the health department and other departments carry out their duties, public involvement and awareness campaigns can effectively reduce dengue malaria.
