The festival of Gangaur Mahotsav, which honours Mother Parvati and Shiva, was observed with fervor and faith this year, as it is every year. Over the course of 16 days, women collectively honored Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. The festival came to an end on Friday with the Maheshwari Mahila Mandal's spectacular Gangaur Chal ritual.
This time, the procession traveled a number of city streets before arriving to the city's Sevan shore, where each and every woman prayed. This year, Agarwal Mahila Mandal, Maheshwari Mahila Mandal, and Soni Mahila Mandal together organized the celebration, which many ladies took part in on a daily basis.
Mahila Mandal Aggarwal President Jyoti Aggarwal stated that the women celebrated the Gangaur festival with great fervor, guided by Maheshwari Mahila Mandal Abha Kasat and Soni Mahila Mandal President Sunita Soni. He said that the Gangaur holiday was observed with fervor and tradition. The women prepared and offered prayers to Gangaur. The women were really excited about the Gangaur celebration. Isar-Gangaur Shiva and Parvati were sculpted by women, who then collectively worshipped the statues in hopes of extending their husbands' lives.
Girls and women alike demonstrated enthusiasm for the worship of Gangaur. The women prepared the altar ahead of time by baking sweet cakes with gram flour, flour, and maida. They also constructed an image of Parvati out of clay, decorated it, and performed ritualistic devotion. Many ladies also made their way to the temples to worship. In addition to worshiping Gangaur, the women prayed to Goddess Parvati for protection in their married lives and heard the significance of the Gangaur fast.
