There were two quarterfinal games on Wednesday night. The French team PSG and the Spanish club Barcelona played a match in Paris. The second game pitted German team Borussia Dortmund against Spanish team Athletico Madrid in Madrid at the same time. Athletico Madrid defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the day's second match.
The first match between Real Madrid and Manchester City in Real Madrid and the second match between Arsenal and Bayern Munich in London, England, earlier on Tuesday ended in draws. Next week, the second-leg matches will take place.

But in the first half, Barcelona took the lead. In the 37th minute, Raphinha, a Brazilian football player and team winger, scored a goal. Barcelona started the first half with a 1-0 advantage.
During the second half, Paris adopted an offensive approach and shifted tactics. Ousmane Dembele leveled the score at 1-1 in the 48th minute. Vitinha took the lead 2-1 three minutes later, in the 50th minute, after scoring a goal.
After making adjustments, Barcelona won the game.
The manager of Barcelona made changes after his team scored two goals. He added defender Andres Christianson and midfielder Pedri. This strategy modified the game. Pedri's exquisite ball from midfield to Raphinha resulted in a goal in the 62nd minute. Christianson won 3-2 by using the corner in the 77th minute to score a header.
Haller scored Dortmund's lone goal, while Athletico scored in the first half.
In the first half, Athletico Madrid seized the lead. The squad took the lead thanks to goals from Rodrigo de Paul in the fourth minute and Samuel Lino in the 32nd. Sebastian Haller's late goal in the 81st minute of the second half gave Dortmund the advantage nonetheless.
