Rajasthan Royals have had yet another severe setback shortly before the Indian Premier League-2024. Adam Zampa, the team's leg spinner, has withdrawn from the current campaign. He was purchased by the franchise for Rs 1.5 crore.

According to a report by Cricinfo, Zampa, 31, is missing the current league season for personal reasons. The Rajasthan squad has not yet disclosed who would take Adam Zampa's place. The Indian League player's withdrawal has been confirmed by his manager. The IPL squad and the franchise, however, have not released a statement in this regard.

Zampa was one of the team's top three spinners.
The loss of Australian spinner Adam Zampa would weaken the Rajasthan Royals' bowling assault. His ranking was in the top three for the Jampa Rajasthan Royals' spin department, along with Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin. During the previous season, he participated in six games for the team and claimed eight wickets at a 23.50 average.
Prasidh Krishna isn't participating either.
Due to an injury, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has already missed the current season. He is receiving rehabilitation at Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy. A few days prior, BCCI had announced that Prasidh was recuperating from an injury and will not be participating in the IPL this season.
On March 24, the first game versus LSG.
Commencing on March 22, the Indian Premier League is in its current season. The Rajasthan team will take on the Lucknow Supergiants in Jaipur on March 24 in their inaugural game.

Adam Zampa leaves the IPL-2024; RR was purchased for Rs. 1.5 crore; no successor has been named.
