Wanindu Hasaranga, the outstanding all-rounder for Sri Lanka, will not be able to play against Bangladesh in a Test match. Hasaranga has been banned for two Test matches after he received three demerit points for challenging the umpire's call in the third ODI against Bangladesh.
After retiring from Test cricket, Sri Lankan leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was called up to the 17-man squad for the two-match series in Bangladesh.
From March 22 to April 3, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will play a series of tests. The first Test match is scheduled to begin in Sylhet on March 22 while the second match is scheduled to begin in Chittagong on March 30.
Hasaranga may play in the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
