Five kilometers from Shahganj Nagar in the Sehore district are the Gram Panchayat Baneta and Jawaharkheda regions, where roughly six stone crushers are in operation.
To remove stones, stone crusher operators blast heavily every day. This causes terror to spread over the surrounding neighborhood. Hundreds of acres of land around the crusher machines where agriculture is practiced. The stones that are released during blasting land in the fields in this scenario.
The crusher operators have stacked dust and ballast in the open not far from the major road, in defiance of the regulations.
It is required that the dumping point be covered in addition to the crusher. The dumping sites have not been covered, but this should stop dust from harming the neighborhood. Furthermore, no plans have been made for sprinklers either. This has caused the surrounding trees and plants to become coated in mist.
Blasting's impact on nearby crops
The mine uses blasting to create ballast for the crusher. As a result, the stones fly through the air and land in the nearby fields. The blasting dust and stones are also having an impact on the agricultural land surrounding the crusher machine. Stones fall into the fields every day as a result of blasting, according to Krishna Kapil Yadav of the village of Jawaharkheda. I've complained about this, but nothing is done about it.
Naib Tehsildar Shahganj Om Prakash Chorma states that an investigation will be conducted in this regard. If any irregularities are discovered after investigation, appropriate action will be taken.
