The Indian Premier League (IPL) games won't be impacted by Bengaluru's water crisis. The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) announced on Tuesday that the Bengaluru water crisis won't affect IPL matches since the outfield and pitch of the Chinnaswamy Stadium will be irrigated with water from the stadium's sewage system.
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Management Board requested that the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewage Board (BWSSB) make a judgment. The Karnataka State Cricket Association had already voiced worries over the water situation.

The 21-match IPL 2024 schedule
The Indian Premier League-2024 schedule for the 21 games was made public last month. The entire schedule for this season hasn't been revealed yet because of the general elections.
The season's opening game between the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will take place at Chepauk Stadium on March 22.
The timetable for the first phase, which runs from March 22 to April 7, has been announced. Four double headers (two matches in a day) and 21 other matches will be played over the course of 17 days during this time.
There is a serious water shortage in 196 Karnataka taluks, and 40% of the borewells in Bengaluru, the nation's IT center, are dry. Below 1800 feet, ground water is now present. Water tankers are now twice as expensive and are only available in response to numerous requests. In 223 of the 240 talukas in Karnataka, the government has declared a drought. 196 of these are reportedly seriously impacted by the drought.
According to State Water Resources Minister Shivkumar, tankers are supplying water to keep the situation under control. Making sure that no water is wasted comes first. The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board and the Bruhat Bengaluru Metropolitan Municipality are working tirelessly in this direction.
