To allow voters in the absentee category to cast their ballots from home, parties will be established, and route maps will be made.
In the district, polling parties have been organized to facilitate the home voting of absentee voters in the Lok Sabha elections. These parties will draft their voting schedule and conduct the vote in accordance with it. For this, arrangements have been made.
Assistant Returning Officers Budni, Ichhawar, Sehore, and Ashta have been directed by Collector Praveen Singh to organize polling teams and allow absentee voters to cast their ballots from home during the Lok Sabha elections.
The issued directive states that in order to encourage voters to cast their ballots from home, steps must be implemented within the allotted time frame. Likewise, between April 19 and 24, the final home voter lists for the third and fourth phases are to be prepared. In a similar vein, a polling team and route map need to be created on April 20, 22, and 25. The polling crew will be assembled on April 20 and 24. The polling team's training session is set for April 24. Additionally, plans have been created for the delivery and return of materials.
The voting schedule must also be made public, and voting is scheduled for April 26 and May 6. To notify voters of the voting timetable, political parties will meet on April 20 and 25 to discuss the home voting process. The dates of this meeting are April 26 and May 4. On April 26 and May 4, candidates from recognized political parties will get the final list of home voters. On those dates, PV will be noted in the electoral record for April 25 and May 3, and postal ballots will be deposited in the Treasury for April 28 and May 6.
