There is a lot of uncertainty about whether or not marriages will take place on Akhatij this year and whether there is an ideal time for it. It is believed that there isn't an auspicious time for marriage on Akhatij this year because of Jupiter's position. Pandit Pradeep Mishra, the storyteller of Sehore, has clarified that marriages can and will occur on Akhatij at unidentified auspicious periods, with God serving as the witness.
There is no requirement for a muhurat in order for a marriage to occur on Akhatij every time, but this year there won't be any marriages on the day because of the confusion that these things keep causing. Subsequently, the well-known Sehore storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra declared that marriages can and will occur on the same Akhatij in accordance with tradition because there is no need for an auspicious time on this day and marriages can be consummated with God serving as a witness.
It is remarkable that, despite claims that there was no favorable time for marriage on Akha Teej, these events continued to cause uncertainty and that this was happening almost 50 years later.
