The firm has now issued an apology for its error in the ongoing Supreme Court lawsuit involving Patanjali Ayurveda's deceptive medication advertisement. The Supreme Court has received an unqualified apology from Patanjali Ayurveda and its MD, Acharya Balkrishna, for their fraudulent and misleading medicine ads.

It has also been promised not to air the advertisement again as part of this apology. The company's media department was unaware of the Supreme Court judgment, according to Acharya Balkrishna. According to him, the intention was to motivate people to use Patanjali products in order to lead healthy lives.

Baba Ramdev and Balkrishna were asked to appear by the Supreme Court.
In the matter of Patanjali Ayurveda's deceptive medical advertisement, the court had directed Swami Ramdev, a co-founder of the company, and Patanjali MD Acharya Balkrishna to appear in court on April 2. said. This order was granted because Acharya Balkrishna and the corporation failed to submit a response to the notification.

He might now need to show up for court on the following date. In addition to issuing a notice during the March 19 hearing, the judge also questioned why he shouldn't face contempt charges. The case is being heard by the bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Ahsanuddin Amanullah. This matter was previously heard on February 27.

During the February 27 hearing, the court prohibited Patanjali Ayurveda's deceptive pharmaceutical ads. In addition, a show-cause notice was given in the case of contempt. Actually, the business disregarded the court's order from the previous year to refrain from running deceptive ads.

The Indian Medical Association's appeal was being heard by the court.
On August 17, 2022, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) filed a plea with the Supreme Court. It claimed that Patanjali had spread false information about allopathy and the Covid vaccine. He also made up the premise that his Ayurvedic medications could treat certain ailments.

IMA showed the court the print media advertising that were published in December 2023 and January 2024 during the previous session. In these ads, Patanjali had promised to 'totally heal' asthma and diabetes.

Just one day had passed since the Supreme Court hearing before this press conference. Judge Amanullah declared during the hearing on November 21, 2023, that Patanjali will need to cease all deceptive advertising right away. Any such infraction will be taken extremely seriously by the court, which has the power to fine a party up to Rs 1 lakh for each fraudulent product claim.

During the previous hearing, the bench stated that Patanjali is misleading the nation by claiming that its medicines can cure certain conditions, even though there isn't any hard proof to support this. The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act prohibits Patanjali from advertising its products with the promise that they may treat any of the listed diseases.

The government was questioned by the court: "What action did you take against Patanjali?" The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable commercials) Act of 1954 was the legal basis for the court's questioning of the government on its response to the Patanjali commercials. Additional Solicitor General (ASG) stated that information is being gathered in this regard on behalf of the Center. The court ordered that the company's marketing be closely monitored and voiced its disapproval of this response.
Claims that Patanjali made Covid medication abounded.

Aside from Corona, Patanjali's goods and Yoga's purported ability to cure cancer, AIDS, and homosexuality have landed Ramdev Baba in controversy on numerous occasions.

In response to the Supreme Court's order to show no further advertisements of this kind, Patanjali apologized to the court. Ramdev and Balkrishna were called on April 2.
